What’s in the Starter Kit and how much does it cost?

de.Light starter kit includes: 1 de.Light Powerline Adapter, 1 de.Light bulb, 1 Ethernet cable,  1 DIY replaceable LED lighting board and 1 user guide. You can get the kit only from our website at US$149.


I already purchased the kit. Can I add more bulbs?

Definitely. 1 de.Light Adapter can connect up to 16 light bulbs. It will come in the subsequent production so you may place a pre-order by contacting us.


Can I purchase the DIY Lighting board from other stores?

You can purchase the DIY LED Lighting Board for de.Light bulb only from us, at very affordable price. There are two choices available – 1. Warm White 2. Cool White lighting board.

Setting Up de.Light

Can I place the light bulb very far from the adapter?

Yes, you can. The operating range between the bulb and the adapter is 300m which is sufficient for typical houses.


How can I change the lighting board?

After removing the bulb cover, use a screwdriver to gently push the lighting board up. Place the new lighting board and press it tight till it’s mounted well on the surface.

What does the three lights on PLC Adapter indicate?

First light (Power) tells you if the adapter is working. If it shows green, it’s powered and working fine. 
Second light (Ethernet) tells you if it’s correctly connected to the router. If it shows green, it’s well connected to Internet. 
Third light (Data) tells you if the bulb is working. If it shows green, the bulb is working fine.

If all three lights are on, you’ve done a perfect setup!


Can I plug the Adapter on an extension board instead of wall outlet?

We encourage you to directly plug it in the wall to ensure good Wi-Fi performance. If you are using an extension board, plug it out from the wall, and plug in ON THE ADAPTER. That way, you can plug in the adapter on the wall and also continue using the extension board for other appliances.

About Warranty & Replacment

Limited Warranty

Xin Yu Connect Pte. Ltd. (XYConnect) provides limited warranty to all its products. The warranty covers the main devices due to defects in material or workmanship. Packaging, various cables, software products, technical data and other accessories are not covered here. The maximum liability of XYConnect’s product is no higher than the product’s purchased price.  

XYConnect does not refund in any conditions. If the returned product is discontinued, XYConnect will replace it with an equivalent product.


What is the warranty period?

All XYConnect products are entitled to a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase.


Warranty replacement procedure:

  1. First, obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by contacting customer support at support@xy-connect.com. Products returned without RMA will not be processed.
  2. Our customer support officer will conduct troubleshooting to see if the product is defective. If it is found to be defective, RMA number will be issued to you.
  3. Package the defective product only without other accessories. Include your contact information with your name, phone number, and RMA number in the package.
  4. Send the product to the address given by the customer support officer. Customers are responsible for the freight charges to XYConnect. The replacement product is shipped to you with shipping charges prepaid. International customers may be subject to duties, taxes and brokerage fee. Customers are responsible for fees incurred.

How do I login to advanced settings on the app?

User ID: admin

Password: admin

I accidentally changed the settings and the light bulb does not work anymore. What should I do?

You can reset both the de.Light adapter and light bulb. This will return the settings to default.
